“I was a little wary when I walked in, but don't judge this book by the cover.I had the Friday night steak special (half order). It was huge and fantastic. Cooked perfectly. Also, the salad was delicious. It had some herbs on it. One more added bonus: I was there with a large group, and the whole order came out quickly, all together, and hot.”

Crazy Alan's Swamp Shack

Address: 310 Texas Ave, Kemah, TX 77565, USA

Restaurant

“I told the waitress to surprise me with a chicken dish. She brought me Blackened Chicken Pontchartrain with seasoned rice and veggies. It was amazing. I think I let out a sigh of happiness with each bite. I also ordered the bread pudding for dessert. I think this is the best bread pudding I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The sauces on top were out of this world. Kimberly was my waitress and she was on it. Friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, seemed to enjoy her job and kept checking in on me. I will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.”

Aquarium Restaurant

Address: Boardwalk #11, Kemah, TX 77565, USA

Restaurant

“Good dining experience and great ambience. Love the huge fish tank and great views out of the spacious windows. Ordered the calamari and also the shrimp dip and they were very good. The best thing was the lobster tower. It was a Cobb salad topped with lobster and it was both visually stunning and tasted very good. Service was above average but bring your check book because it was over $200 for five people to eat lunch.”

Skipper's Cafe

Address: 1026 Marina Bay Dr, Kemah, TX 77565, USA

Restaurant

“It's a great place and I've been going there since 1995. it's pretty busy so sometimes the food gets whipped out pretty quick and there's no attention to detail but it's really not that kind of place. It's casual and it's cool and you can meet all the sailors around the area. I would love to give it five stars but being owned by a Greek man, I would have to say that the gyros is pretty horrible. The breakfast is great and all Americana.”

Joe Lee's Seafood Kitchen

Address: 1108 Marina Bay Dr, Kemah, TX 77565, USA

“Good seafood and the shrimp coleslaw and the rolls are a staple. I have been many times. It's good food and family friendly. The staff is helpful and its casual come as you are dinning. There is lots to choose from the menu. Something for everyone.”

Sundance Grill II

Address: 800 Mariners Dr, Kemah, TX 77565, USA

Restaurant

“Service was slow to non-existent even though there were only 2 tables when we arrived and 4 when we left. The room was very cold and when we asked if it could be adjusted the manager said this happens every night... can't really do anything. Our server did manage to turn the temperature up slightly but it was miserable. The food was very good but it's a shame we didn't really enjoy it because we were in a hurry to leave for someplace warmer.”

San Lorenzo Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

Address: 3202 Marina Bay Dr G, Kemah, TX 77565, USA

Restaurant

“Love this place! Everyone knows it is my favorite. Been going since before they relocated closer. Yes this is where we get whip cream on our face for Birthdays. The food and friendly atmosphere is why I love it. HOWEVER you must plan to spend a while for ordering and taking care of the check. So it is a 5 if you plan to chill a while.”
