“This was my first time eating at MOD pizza and I was very impressed. You get to see your pizza being assembled in front of you and the employees didn't give you any grief if you asked for a little extra of any sauce or topping. The pizza was cooked quickly and most of all, tasted delicious! The crust was crunchy and hot and the pizza overall had a lot of flavor. The drinks from the soda fountain were very good as well as the different types of tea and lemonade. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. The employees were very helpful and friendly. I can't wait to go back and have actually been craving their pizza again since I last ate there.”

Their tour of Mexico is great you get a bit of everything and it's a great staple for my family and I when we go there. “I've been to the Taqueria enough times to no longer need the menu. I have a regular table and a regular server who pretty much knows my order. If it's Monday, Wednesday or Friday then I'm going with a full order of the San Lo nachos, mixed beef and chicken. Tuesdays and Thursdays I'll do a half order, but I ask them to surprise me on the meat. I just trust them that much. The queso is divine, and you can try it either with pickled jalapenos or fresh cut. If I'm feeling sassy then I do the pickled ones, but if I'm in a spicy mood then it's just got to be the fresh sliced. Everything else in the menu is just as good as the nachos, in case you were wondering. Maybe I'll see you there....”

“Went here for my first time with 2 friends. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the music was good. The wait staff was very nice and attentive and the food was amazing. I had the Udon and the King Crab Special roll while one of my friends had the Target and Tokyo roll. My last friend who doesn't like fish had the Chicken/Beef Fried Rice. “A true hidden gem.. After reading all these positive reviews, My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time. Service and food was so good. We tried escargot (appetizer), the best escargot I have ever tasted in Houston.. and we ordered lasagna and lamb osso bucco (entree). Everything was cooked to perfection. When you opened your doors, we came to help support the local, good restaurants, because we didn’t want you to go away; but, now we come because it’s the only place we trust to make our food. My husband and I are one of the people traumatized by finding weird stuff and gross stuff in our food sometimes when we eat out, But, AFTER EATING AT POMODOROS FOR OVER 10 years WE STILL LOVE IT AND HAVE NEVER HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM WITH OUR FOOD! The bartenders drinks are GREAT, and the MALIBU RUM AND DIET COKE are perfect after a long day of tending to patients, it’s PERFECT ! The waiters and waitresses are so young, and kind and helpful, it’s very nice to have such awesome, polite young people caring if I need a refill on my water, or Diet Coke. Thank you !”

After checking out the menu, I went with a Caribbean way, it was a mixture of strawberries, bananas and a papaya juice blend and turbinado and for s&g I tossed in a caffeine kicker too. The smoothie tasted great, loved the blends of the fruits, only down fall was I ordered a small and should have gotten a medium because I was sad when it was gone haha. After reading the other reviews about the large portions, I would have to disagree. I don't normally finish all my food but was able to eat everything and was still a little hungry when I left.
