Hondo's On Main

The food is your basic American fare nothing to write home about. First you have to wait in a very long line to order and then you have to try to score a picnic table if you want to have a seat once your buzzer goes off. This place gets 4 stars because it had a pretty awesome Texas feel with a country blue grass band playing outside. The ambiance is definitely what makes this place otherwise it's just okay.

Delicious food! The outdoor area is so cute and you can bring your dogs. They had music playing in the gazebo. It was neat.

We were visiting Fredericksburg on our annual wine tour. Had a great dinner here. We both ordered the Texas fried chicken- delicious and perfect portion. Beer prices are reasonable. Nice patio with live music. No waitstaff- order everything at the bar. Not a problem for us!

Good was awesome, but you need to get here earlier than 5:30 to easily get a seat. Quesadillas were grilled and delicious. They state that their margaritas are poured tall and strong, and they ain't lying. The margaritas are more expensive than some places, but you are definitely getting what you pay for. The outside patio is perfect in the spring.

Food was AWESOME! Line was long to order both food & drinks, but a great way to catch up with friends. Live music was great. I highly recommend if you have nowhere else to be & just want to listen to good music, eat hot/wonderful food. The staff @ Hondo's was nice * helpful.
