Mamacita's Restaurant

I went there late one evening for dinner with my wife and child. They told us the wait was 15-20 minutes. They had us seated in 10. Good atmosphere. Our server got our order wrong. We think it was a miscommunication due to how loud it was in there. No big deal. The food was very tasty. The portions are HUGE!!!. Overall a good experience.

We absolutely love this place. Well worth the 91 Mile drive.

We have gone there several times when in the area on vacation. Most of the time the service has been good but can be a little slow if there are big groups near you. They serve very generous portions. I like their green sauce. They have their own parking lot which is important when Fredericksburg is packed with tourists. Good Tex-Mex menu.

My first time eating at Mamacita's and to was I ever pleased. I was immediately greeted by the hostess and offered two seating options. The runners were very quick at bringing chips, salsa, and a delicious avocado style dip as well. The menu offered a large variety of traditional Mexican dishes along with some more Tex Mex selections. I went for the beef fajitas which typically is a safe option since I have a low tolerance to anything spicy. I can honestly say that they were the best fajitas I have ever had by far. The flour tortillas are made on site and pulled from the oven as the order is served. The beef was seasoned perfectly and the beef was extremely tender. They offer a wonderful selection of desserts that can be eaten at the table or taken home.

Good atmosphere. Today our waitress was off her game. I asked for tea unleaded, she brought sweet. Mom ordered hot tea. Check. Daughter ordered hot tea, she brought water. After some kidding and fun, she managed to smile and had good interactions after that.

Food is great.

Tortillas are made there. I think?

My mom and daughter both had to get a box to go. I devoured mine!

Free chips and salsa with an ordered meal.

Plenty of parking. Down the street from the congestion of the tourist area.

Go eat here. You will love the food, atmosphere and small town attitude as you're treated like a friend.

The water wall is pretty neat too.
