Our server got me something else to eat quickly. He was working his butt off-can’t say as much for the other servers..it was frustrating seeing them slacking with a full house.”

“If you want an old time delicious coney dog smothered in chili then this is your place! This is an old time diner in scenery and food quality! The food is delicious and made from scratch. The homemade chili is traditional Texas Red and is delicious. Hamburgers, hot dogs, double baked ham sandwiches and at least ten different kinds of homemade pies…even the crust is homemade! I order my holiday pies from here and it is worth driving 40 miles to get them. It’s a dive with yellow Formica countertops and bar or booth service in downtown Pampa, TX. And the lemonade….yum! And you can’t beat the prices!”

“The food was delicious. We stopped here after seeing it on google maps. Cute decor, nice live ivy plant that are huge! Old cars are neat. Waitress was good and made sure tea was always full, which is not normal at most places. I was disappointed to see there wasn’t really a buffet like most reviews said. It was just a menu. Even though the menu even says it’s available everyday …… they need to update their website to show they have a menu right now. I added the menu pics to here. The tea was good and perfect amount of sugar.”

“I stopped for gas, but when I walked in and saw the counter, I ordered lunch. The cheeseburger was great, the meat had some heft, unlike a fast food burger. And the fries were crispy on the outside and were thick enough to still be potatoes on the inside. Couldn't have asked for a better lunch. The staff was fast, friendly and made it feel like home.”
