We went during a very slow hour so service was great. Food ranged from good to ok. Great flavor but enchiladas were dry. Chimichanga also great flavor and plenty of chicken in it, but wasn’t wrapped tightly enough cause some of the exposed chicken got deep fried and ended up being tough and chewy. We’ll probably go back cause we want to try the breakfast tacos. According to google mornings is where they have the most traffic. When exactly is the question.
My husband and I along with our friend were in town for an event and decided to stop for some mexican food. So glad we did! Began the meal with great chips with queso and 2 types of salsa. All free. We ordered chicken fajitas, beef fajitas, and nachos. The service was prompt, and we were asked several times if we needed anything. Great meal. All good!!!
After traveling all day we were able to enjoy authentic Mexican hospitality and cuisine. The atmosphere was rustic and warm. So was the hospitality. We called to make sure they would stay open after 9pm and they graciously agreed. Our group of 6 and a baby was greeted with a friendly smile and a table that was already set when we arrived. They served us an array of salsas and queso with light homemade chips. The portions were large and flavorful. It seems like there is nothing around but well worth the extra few blocks.
The food was quite good, and I love that they give you free queso along with the chips and salsa. The portions were also nicely sized. The service was lacking, we were ignored when we went in and a little girl (about 10) was doing most of the service work, grabbing cups by the rim and handing silverware by the part that goes in the mouth. She was sweet though :)
