“I'm 62, been a Mexican food/Tex-Mex fan since I was a kid in West Texas. I'm a road salesman so I've eaten at places all over Texas, OK, AR, LA. I live here in Van Alstyne and let me tell you the beef fajitas are the best I've ever had! Their beef is never tough and is always flavorful. They have great margaritas and the chips and salsa are great as well.”

“Smoky G is just a magician with the smoker. I don’t think it’s possible to make meat more tender than he does. Ribs fall of the bone and brisket is always memorable. I travel the country eating in many renowned establishments, and I can honestly put this brisket at the top. You will be able to experience the love with every sandwich. Truly, every sandwich is made with Mr G’s love for what he does, and it can be tasted.”

“They were short handed so service was very slow. The two guys working were doing their best so the three stars are for them. The food was decent but lukewarm to cool by the time we got it. This location has always had issues with how it is managed. We come here because it is they only place around here open late at night. It definitely needs some attention from corporate.”

“My husband and I along with our friend were in town for an event and decided to stop for some mexican food. So glad we did! Began the meal with great chips with queso and 2 types of salsa. All free. We ordered chicken fajitas, beef fajitas, and nachos. The service was prompt, and we were asked several times if we needed anything. Great meal. All good!!!”

“This is a wing place where the spiciest sauce they have is the only one that's even remotely spicy. Good specials though, and the sandwiches are nice and big.”

“Never tried this place before so was a little scared to spread my roots of Mexican food or Chinese. Sat down in wonderful old style room and ordered it meals. After the first bite I couldn't stop eating. Flat bread served with hummus was it first enjoyment. Then when the main meal came out I was sold. Will defiantly recommend to everyone. Staff is extremely friendly. Love the old Town feel when you arrive at this establishment. Just a short distance from the highway and well worth it! Great for a date night with your significant other or the family in whole. We came just before the dinner rush that was filling up as we were leaving!”

“They have served my family group of 10 to 12 twice and it was great both times. The pizza was very good. I like the all meat. I would skip adding the jalapenos. They were ordinary pickled peppers that didn't appear baked with the pie. The wait staff has been attentive and friendly. No complaints.”
