Jack Ryan's Steak and Chophouse

This was the best example of "fine dining" I have experienced in East Texas. Everything about this place is classy and thoughtfully presented. The building itself is upscale, modern, tastefully decorated, well-kept, and very clean. The menu is incredible. The menu is made up of mostly familiar names but the execution shows talent and creativity that I have only ever seen on television. The flavor is equally exceptional. Each dish has its own complete flavor that highlights the main item with perfectly suited complementary flavors. The staff here complete the dining experience. Everyone I encountered was courteous and professional. All of the servers were great and performed at a level befitting a high caliber restaurant. The only downside to our visit is the parking available to the building. We went at peak dinner hours and parking around the building was full and across the street had filled up to the point that only pickup trucks could find a place. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are going out for a special occasion there are few other restaurants in this area that can match Jack Ryan's.

Food is incredible, great service. Dinner is a little pricey if that's an issue I would recommend lunch. On our second visit there is dust all over the fake plants my bill was $168 for two, should be cleaner!

Best restaurant in East Texas. This is our go-to, especially for celebratory dinners. This past weekend, I called for reservations for 2 but nothing was available at the time requested being Mother’s Day weekend. When there was a last minute cancellation, the hostess kindly called me back to inform me, and we gladly accepted. The entire staff is knowledgeable and polite, and the food is amazing! The setting is peaceful and intimate. I love that the menu is fresh and seasonal. The tenderloin is the best in East Texas, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I highly recommend the pecan pie martini for an after-dinner treat! For an excellent fine dining experience, Jack Ryan’s will not disappoint.

Jack Ryan's is a very upscale restaurant in a small town. The food is prepared and plated exquisitely. You are able to enjoy each course as it comes out and not rushed through the meal. It is a wonderful place for a corporate dinner, a special occasion, or just a night out with friends. It is right off of the main Street in downtown Kilgore.
