We have dined there 2 times recently. On Friday November 21, 2014 at about 1:30pm. There was limited choices of food. They had fried chicken and some kind of bbq pork. I am not a fan of either of these items. I ended up getting some fried okra and some peas and fixed a salad from the salad bar. The salad was excellent. I thought it was pretty expensive salad that I ate that day.
On Sunday November 23, 2014 12:00pm. We went here after church. My husband said the fried chicken was much better this time. The steak was good but was a little over cooked. There were plenty of choices of vegetables. They were pretty good.
Overall I like Ryan's. If you are going to compare Ryan's with Golden Corral. I think that Golden Corral has much more food choices for the price of the buffet. Taste of food is about the same.
My husband likes Ryan's fried chicken much better than GC. And, I wonder what happened to the Roast. I never see it on the buffet anymore. I like Ryan's Pot Roast.
