“We mapped this as a resting point on a 62 mile gravel road bicycle ride from Navasota. The lady working that morning was very warm and welcoming. The restroom was very clean, the store looked nice and the breakfast burrito was good too. It was my first time in the area and it was really great. I wish the restaurant portion had been open. I will be back on a weekend.”

“I really miss this place. :( I have fond memories of my visits here on my way from College Station to Sam Houston National Forest. I recently drove an hour out of the way to visit and was sad to discover it had closed. On my first visit, the owner came to my table and chatted with me as if we were already friends. The food was great too, and the surrounding area is peaceful. I will always remember this place.”
