“Brought the family out tonight and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing, the staff was very polite and patient while we figured out what we wanted. While you know you are getting a home-cooked meal, tonight definitely exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a great evening!”

“Service is friendly, however the food takes a while. We waited in drive thru about 5 mins, but they weren't busy. They forgot one of my items, so I went in and asked for it. The wings are ok, nothing special. Funnel fries are a great concept, but there were barely any in there. Fries were soggy. Burger was good.”

“Great brisket, great atmosphere, and great people. Just grabbed a 2 meat plate, and it was delicious. The people who own and run Lou's are very nice and have made this place look great. If you are looking for some great bbq, this is the place to check our. The beans were great, and I can't wait to make it back. Great small town restaurant with Texan and American pride.”

“We mapped this as a resting point on a 62 mile gravel road bicycle ride from Navasota. The lady working that morning was very warm and welcoming. The restroom was very clean, the store looked nice and the breakfast burrito was good too. It was my first time in the area and it was really great. I wish the restaurant portion had been open. I will be back on a weekend.”

“I've been to a lot of small town Mexican restaurants and while I've never had bad Mexican food, most of them leave something to be desired - so I was not expecting much from this one, but boy was I (pleasantly) surprised! Absolutely everything was delicious! I even ate the rice...which I never eat...but I couldn't get enough! Will definitely be back here! Juan & Linda's is a lovey (and yummy) small town gem.”

“The best juicy cheeseburger????I’ve ever had. Great job, it was spot on. And for desert I had this oven heated hybrid apple pie/biscuit/croissant dressed with a toffee sauce that was delicious. Loved and ate every bite! As an added bonus, you’ll get some genuine southern hospitality with a fantastic country view.”

“Friendly employees, best beer prices on the road. Small taco kitchen, fresh meat to grill, and all the fixings for an authentic Mexican meal. Tables to sit and eat at when you buy food that is hot. Fresh chicharrones!”

“West end grocery store was a convenient stop on my way to Houston. The store was a little bit dated but the inside was fairly clean and had all the essentials you need for a road trip. They have a few gas pumps outside, but it's definitely a mom and pop store.”

“Mallett brothers is great. This location does not disappoint. I have been to the others locations and this is just as great. Be sure to go on Tuesday nights for the buy one get one free burger night. The burgers are big enough to share for adults. The bbq, burgers and everything are delicious. I love going here, and this will be worth your time to check out. Great food.”

“We were in a group of 15, and the only customers in the place. One waitress and one cook . Food was slow to come out. And it was cold. I only ordered coffee, and the waitress spilled some on me and still charged me for it. It is a beautiful place, but unless they change something, they will not last.”

“I really miss this place. :( I have fond memories of my visits here on my way from College Station to Sam Houston National Forest. I recently drove an hour out of the way to visit and was sad to discover it had closed. On my first visit, the owner came to my table and chatted with me as if we were already friends. The food was great too, and the surrounding area is peaceful. I will always remember this place.”

“Made a lunch stop here well on a motorcycle ride with my friend. Had the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich on Texas toast, and our server said that's the best way to have it out of the three choices. I couldn't have agreed with her more after that first bite. It was my friend's first time there, and he got the Chicken Fried Chicken plate. What amazing food from a well-known Cafe in the middle of almost nowhere out in the country, which is the perfect place to be for this place. Been there many times before, have had many items on the menu. Prices are good, and the food is even better. It's no wonder this place is always packed on the weekends with mostly bikers coming in for lunch. Looking forward to going riding out there again, and look forward to stopping in there again for lunch.”

“I love this store. I go there all the time. Its the middle point to get my child. I like this store because they always have unique items. I bought a charger cord for my phone, it metal with jewels on it. I have never seen one again at any store. Its a topic of a lot conversations. Everyone I know wants one.”

“I visited M.Beaux's on a very busy Valentine's night. Parking was packed. I think we got the last available table, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that even though they were super busy in no more than 3 minutes of walking into the restaurant they had our drinks & appetizers (boudin balls. Very good!!) in front of us. We shared 3lbs of crawfish and they were on the table before I could get back from the bathroom. They were big & cooked just right. We also ordered a combo plate to share. It was delicious!! I cant wait to go back!!!”
