“Quite honestly the best pizza we’ve ever tried. You can custom order a 14” pizza with a bunch of different toppings for around $14. I cannot recall a pizza that was not greasy but the crust was just right, not burnt or soft, it was just right. My wife is from Eastern Europe and she said it tastes exactly how they make it over there. We’ve dropped Rosie’s and will be coming here from now on. Yes they are new and still getting into the rhythm of things, but that is a part of life. You learn from your mistakes and get better. No one can expect perfection but potential. I met the owner and it was a pleasure speaking with someone who was very humble and down to earth. This place has character, a great product, and extremely fair prices. For me, you can’t ask for much more than that. The pizza we ordered: 14” thick crust No sauce Extra Mozzarella Feta cheese Grilled chicken Cooked mushrooms Roasted red peppers Italian sausage With Ranch on the side. Fantastic. Will definitely order again or try some other combination of ingredients. Highly recommended!”

“This restaurant opened about three weeks ago. The food and service is amazing! The prices are great as well as the food portions. Very busy so use their app to check-in or you could have a long wait. They have many varieties of breakfast items and kid meals.”

“We stumbled across this place by accident on the second day they were open. They were still working out a few kinks but overall it was a great dinner. The beef enchiladas are by far the best I’ve ever had! The wife just said her waffle ( I know....who orders waffles at a Mexican restaurant?!?) were great too! We will be back for sure!”

“The best Mexican food we have eaten here in Sequin. We have visited several other restaurants but, this is the best for service, drinks, cost and food! We have begun eating here at least once a month now and sometimes even more often. LOVE IT!”

“This place came highly suggested by coworkers, they were not wrong. The food was really great and didn't take that long from when we order to when it was ready. Will definitely be going back, and suggesting to others!!!”

“We always stop here going and coming from the Texas Hill Country. Good beer, good food, good atmosphere! Because the venue is spilt, their food prepared in the other half, we are allowed to bring our very well behaved pups to the brewery half. We had fun visiting with the twin bartenders. All around a great experience, we will be there many times to come.”

“Very nice neighborhood bar. Happy hour with Rene is golden. I recommend a relaxed environment such as this. It is what it is and its worthy of 5 stars. Some new players have joined the crew. Cat is a power player in customer service. This is my home town, after work go to venue.”

“Service is good food tastes good and they make home made corn Tortillas also very good.”

“Positive note...the beans and rice were good......I'm sorry I didn't take a photo...their version of a puffy taco was an oversized chalupa....a mis-shaped thin corn tortilla bowl .. not crispy..not soft and puffy...but somewhere in-between chewy. ...the stuffing was good with seasoned ground beef ..cheese, sour cream and guac.....the ice tea was soooooooo sugary...I had to cut it with two glasses of unsweetened tea ..... Salsa for the chips was good.....but the chips aren't thin n crispy...felt like a cross between flour and corn tortillas though they said they were corn ..... Hmmm....maybe white corn ....hard to tell...my friends said HIS tacos were good ...carne asada and the salsa verde was yummy not spicy at all. The waiter seemed overwhelmed and too busy though there were only four tables ..... he may have been helping with to-go orders.... .... We will give it another try as we try to support our local people.”

“Delicious place to eat BBQ! My wife and I had the Brisket sandwich combo. The meat and the bread were top notch. The sides were also outstanding. Also, the customer service was excellent. I would recommend this to put it on your go to list.”

“Came here for a quick lunch and had a brisket sandwich and it was awesome. Fresh and juicy and tender. I also sampled the ribs and brisket, both were great. I ended up buying 1/2LB of ribs to go along with my sandwich. I really wanted to try to the chicken but he was sold out, so I be will be going back again to try it. Chatted with the owner for a little bit and he smoke's the briskets for a full 14 hours, he also does catering, call in orders, can smoke your brisket for you for a weekend party, whatever you need. Good place. Head to Marion Tx and try it.”

“La Tortillita is also known as El Queretano (it's complicated, but they are the same place.) The FRIENDLINESS and SERVICE IS outstanding at La Tortillita. Miguel is one of the friendliest and most aware managers I have ever encountered. Husband and wife team, Isaac and Thomasita, are professional waitpersons, including the fact that they remember your preferences when you return. And that's just the front of the house. In the cocina, owner Jose and his wife are busy serving up some delicious Tex-Mex. It's as good as it gets, in my opinion. They open for Breakfast at 7 AM. Migas, Chiliquilles, Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Tacos, American Breakfasts...and their Machacado is made in house and, wow!, what a difference it makes! Their Fideo Loco and Tortilla soups are really something special. All-day lunch specials are just $6.99. Tea is included in the that price. La Tortillita serves Barbacoa every day, their Carne Guisada is the best I have ever had (except for my moma's), their Chili Con Carne Enchilada sauce is PERFECT Tex-Mex, and, well, I could go on, but just give it a try for yourself! (Did I mention Chicken Mole?) PLUS, for those who imbibe (I don't), they have a full bar, GREAT 2 for 1 happy hour from 2-5PM, and overall very reasonable prices. All day, everyday Margaritas for $2.99 (the real deal), and draft beer for $1.99. La Tortillita is a diamond among gems in the Tex-Mex world!”

“One thumb up so far. After you sit down, don't expect your standard chips & salsa. What you get is a bowl of chips and tostadas with two squeeze bottles. One is an avocado based salsa with a nice little burn and a mayo based mixture that is much milder but tasty. Started with the Taco Dorado. A blackened fillet of red snapper with avocado and a SPICY mayo. The fish was perfectly cooked and the corn tortilla soft and tasted home made. SUPERB! As I was waiting for my main course, I was reading reviews for the other location. By coincidence, I was reading a review that said, "Don't order the Paella.", as they brought out... my paella. First thing I noticed was that I was given crab crackers, but no crab. When I asked about this, I was told that they ran out of crab and give me two extra shrimp instead. I wish I had been told this before I ordered. While the proteins were nicely cooked and flavorful, the rice and corn base was over seasoned with what might be some so type of bullion which made it salty and one-noted. Two of the clams didn't open up (under cooked?). Despite this minor set back, I'm glad they are here and look forward to going back and trying other dishes.”

“Found this on Yelp, decided to give a try. Located in the end unit of a strip center it was fairly easy to find. Friendly staff inside a small spot. 4 tables for inside eating and a small patio outside. Clean and brightly lit. Order if 3 hit dogs, cheese, mustard, onion, chili. The chili is not your typical canned or Texas chili. More if a meat chili from the Midwest is east coast. Overall a good meal. Dogs are 6 inches so 3 is not too filling. If your in FM 78 in Schertz please stop in, good place”

“A very pleasant surprise, in this hidden gem. The interior is upscale and was a pleasant surprise. The staff was down to earth and friendly. It provided a great relaxing atmosphere. I had the schnitzel and it was lightly battered with good flavor. The vegetables were crisp just the way I prefer.”
