“We go to get donuts at least once a week while we are visiting in Texas. I don't have anything against Texas donuts but I really think Michigan has the best variety, hands down. All I see here are mostly glazed donuts with various sprinkles. We have glazed, cinnamon sugar, nutties, maple rolls, every kind of cream-stick, pumpkin, chocolate (plain and glazed), powdered sugar, dark chocolate chip, lemon, bear claws, fruit-filled, peanut butter, eclairs, and on and on. Our grandkids can't wait for their favorites when they come visit us.”

“I was invited to this restaurant for a friend’s birthday; we were a group of 6. This was a first time visit for all of us. We had a tick off menu where you order as a group and each item selection tells you how many pieces come in 1 selection. It’s a novel ordering system that allows you to try various combinations of menu items. We had soup, salad, appetizers, tempura, sushi, teriyaki, hibachi and dessert options. All of us were impressed with the selection, presentation, flavor and service we received. Henry was our attentive server that night and he did an excellent job. Each of us now has a new favorite restaurant! That is high praise indeed.”

“One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It’s inside the VFW. Just head to the window on the left near the stage to order. Patty was melt in your mouth and seasoned to perfection. The bun was perfectly toasted and soft. You could tell all the ingredients were fresh. You absolutely need to check this place out if you haven’t already. “Excellent food! My friend had the special, Grilled Cheese Bennie (grilled cheese sandwich, shaved ham, poached egg, plus pancakes) It was awesome! I had the corned beef hash, with eggs & pancakes. We were both beyond happy with our choices! Our waiter, Manny, was efficient and kept just enough of a watch on us to keep our glasses filled without hovering. So it was worth the 30 minute wait. Definitely going to return!”

“One thumb up so far. After you sit down, don't expect your standard chips & salsa. What you get is a bowl of chips and tostadas with two squeeze bottles. One is an avocado based salsa with a nice little burn and a mayo based mixture that is much milder but tasty. Started with the Taco Dorado. A blackened fillet of red snapper with avocado and a SPICY mayo. The fish was perfectly cooked and the corn tortilla soft and tasted home made. SUPERB! As I was waiting for my main course, I was reading reviews for the other location. By coincidence, I was reading a review that said, "Don't order the Paella.", as they brought out... my paella. First thing I noticed was that I was given crab crackers, but no crab. When I asked about this, I was told that they ran out of crab and give me two extra shrimp instead. I wish I had been told this before I ordered. While the proteins were nicely cooked and flavorful, the rice and corn base was over seasoned with what might be some so type of bullion which made it salty and one-noted. Two of the clams didn't open up (under cooked?). Despite this minor set back, I'm glad they are here and look forward to going back and trying other dishes.”

“Found this on Yelp, decided to give a try. Located in the end unit of a strip center it was fairly easy to find. Friendly staff inside a small spot. 4 tables for inside eating and a small patio outside. Clean and brightly lit. Order if 3 hit dogs, cheese, mustard, onion, chili. The chili is not your typical canned or Texas chili. More if a meat chili from the Midwest is east coast. Overall a good meal. Dogs are 6 inches so 3 is not too filling. If your in FM 78 in Schertz please stop in, good place”
