Great bbq. The ribs and jalapeno sausage were excellent. Good beer selection on tap. Haven't tried the brisket yet. Only complaint is that they close at 3 p.m. Hopefully that will change soon.
Great food, atmosphere, service!! You get a lot for your money and every flavor is fantastic. Also I was surprised by the great craft beer options!! I had the Smoked Turkey Bahn Mi, husband had the Brisket Sandwich. The meat was piled high!!!
These guys are true masters of their craft. Everything was on point! All of the meats were so key and juicy. All the sides come together for a fantastic journey that leaves you craving for the next time. If you're in Houston, definitely come and check this place out. Now if only I can find out how to be blood Brothers with them...
Friendly, helpful customer service, clean, and we love the wood tables/booths! Great meats and sides. We arrived later in the day so we didn't get to try everything (sold out), but what we did have; beef ribs, pork ribs, brisket, hot link, jalapeno coleslaw, and brisket fried rice were all fabulous! Oh, and easy parking!
Wow, my last meal in Houston this visit and I had the time to head here. The man on the sides recommended the Mac n Cheese and it's good! The Saturday special is a beef rib so you know I had to try it, the guy on meats gave me an end piece, slightly smaller with a fair amount of bark. I also got some brisket as I had to try more than one thing. Some bread and a soda was added and I was good to go.
Love the pickle station - what a great idea, the ability to get just the bits you want (more pickle than pepper, a little onion). Cherry limeade as a drink.
I already said the mac n cheese was good, but I have to say it again. The beef rib was a little hard to get through the bark but once you did, the meat was soft and tender, and the bark was definitely worth the chew. Brisket was a little fatty and a little lean, so juicy with great taste. I added a little sauce and it all went down well.
Back in London and craving BBQ, but there won't be anything that compares...
