Torchy's was great as per usual. Each time I have gone to Torchy's with each location, I do not have anything negative to say. The service is always good. This is why I continue to come. Great service, great food, great drinks, great combination. The town lake location has great views of the lake. The patio looking at the water is perfect on a spring day. I sat at the bar this time and I was able to catch a March NCAA game and look at the water and enjoy great service. Enjoyed my visit again this time.
Amazing customer service! Our 1st time to go and an employee greeted us in line and helped us make our selections. Such delicious and unique taco combos! The fried avocado tacos are incredible!!!!! I even left my purse at the table and once I got home and realized I had left it behind, I was in a panic. The restraunt was closed when I returned but the employees let me in and helped me find my purse. I can't say enough about the staff- absolutely wonderful people! Food will not disappoint!
The staff here is very friendly. I had a great dine in experience and will spread the word. Food is delicious. I look forward to making this a local regular stop. ????
This is a fun place. There is a lake at this one. I could spend hours there. The food is really good not the same ol thing. It's a little pricey, so it's for a treat.
+2 Stars - For the taste. The tacos seem authentic and different from what we generally seem as tacos. I've been a big fan of Torchy's just for the taste-bud-ticking flavors.
+1 Star - For the location of this Torchy's. Wow! It's one of the best scenic restaurant experience I've ever witnessed. You can come eat tacos in a boat if you have one!!
Minus 2 - What it gains in taste, is lost in the lackluster service and the overpriced menu. They have a gigantic void to fill in the service department, long lines, terrible waiting times, cold tacos, hot beers, you name it !! And not to forget the overpriced 5$ tacos for the mini size they offer. The price doesn't make any sense at all.
Though it has some flaws, I'd come back just for the flavor. I believe that's how they pull these huge crowds. All in all I'd recommend it to a friend.
