“So... While dealing with some small, not so hectic drama... We stop here at Shipley's... And thankfully they were open. Takk about a happy morning. And guess what...there was no line. Which is even more fabulous. Now, because we were early... They did not have the everything variety. So, no long john's (which are my faves) no bear claws (Jason's faves), no Bavarian cream (mine and Drew's faves), but they had all if Kat's faves... She was the happiest camper out of all of us... Oh, when we got out glazed only donuts...they weren't warm...which...ugh .. those are the best... Well, and a warm apple fritter (another fave of mine...no they didnt have out yet) so, next time .. maybe showing up 30 min later... Then i can maybe have a wonderful happy morning... Yummy donuts!!!”

“Was super excited to try this new place out, but was let down pretty quickly. The wait time was way too long just for some iced coffee. I think they were short staffed since I only saw 2 young ladies working in the back. It’s was not their fault as they were very apologetic for the wait time plus there was a mix up on our order and one of the young girls gave us free mini cookies to make up for the mix up. As for my coffee it was just average iced coffee nothing spectacular about it. I think I made the mistake of getting coffee and not trying their sodas which this place is known for. I will def have to give this place another chance down the road.”

“A bit shocked to read the negative reviews as my experience was positive from start to finish. All signs are clear with easy to read print, older gentleman (who I assume is the owner) was the only one working and was with a drive-thru customer as I walked up. He came over and told me he’d be right with me. I agree he isn’t overly friendly but he’s pleasant enough. I ordered a cone for my son and got a free sample of ice cream for myself. I loved it, so I ordered a small cup as well. Yes it was almost $16 but the cost of things simply don’t surprise me anymore. Nice seating area to enjoy some ice cream on a lovely Monday evening. We will be back!”

“Greatly improved! I shopped here for some fajita meet a few years ago and butcher was angry and I wasn't sure about the quality of the meat. Came back for some 2024 SuperBowl fajita meat and all is good. Butcher guy was nice/smiling, cashier girl was nice and smiling, all said the beef and chicken fajita meet was great. I also picked up some in house corn torts out of the cooler there and they were great. Glad we have a connection as this is near by. Will be back soon!”

“Absolutely must! I not only adore the decor in this establishment, but am obsessed with the food! Chicken salad sandwich with chicken enchilada soup and chocolate chip cookie. Of course my order is not complete without their homemade ding dong! I do not really eat bread very often, but here I love how soft and fluffy it is. Definitely a nice spot to go relax and enjoy truly amazing food.”

“They did an amazing job with my son’s Batman Cupcakes. My husband called the after before the party and they made it happen. They even bought him some Batman action figures which was a huge hit. The cupcakes were not only beautiful they were DELICIOUS!! No more dry cupcakes from H-E-B for us. These were SO good. 10/10 would recommend. Awesome shop and great family business.”

“Nothing to brag about here, except maybe the new style tacitly. Food was average at best. Layout of the place was very nice and set up well. Like the “bar” style seating with the charging stations. Kind of disappointed with the overall cleanliness. Sad that it’s still fairly new, but the upkeep of it is a little lacking. Dirty pans on display behind the register, chunks of pickles on the floor and most of the workers wearing dirty bleach stained t-shirts. Maybe some aprons or something would be appropriate when working the kitchen. If you’re looking for an average meal and a decent price, and can accept the sub par cleanliness, then this is a great option. Otherwise, there’s much better local options.”

“Excellent Kolaches! The best I've ever had so far. They're fresh and tasty! The biscuits and gravy are by far my favorite. They brought back child hood memories from something I had as a kid. And the owner (didn't catch her name) is so friendly! She's amazing and had a huge lively personality!”
