85C Bakery Cafe - Friendswood

WONDERFUL!! This is an amazing bakery. They have a wide range of Asian and American baked goodies. Their cakes are moodernly decorated, beautiful and delicious. Their cakes start at $30 so they can be pricey but they also sell cake by the slice which is very convenient and affordable. You will find something here for everyone, from savory to sweet. Their sea salt tea's and coffee's are amazing as well. The only downside... they do run out of some varieties of bakery goods after 7 because everything is made fresh. So, to have a variety to choose from, I suggest to go as early as possible! You won't be disappointed! Before you go, checkout their website to get an idea of what you might want to try. I’m so happy there is a 85C bakery here! I used to go to the one by 99 ranch market and absolutely missed it when I moved. This bakery has a selection of Japanese inspired items. I love this bakery so much and hope you will too! They also have a good selection of coffee and tea.

The egg tarts are great! Everything has been so far. They have so many options that I have not tried everything yet. It is a serve yourself kind of thing for most baked items. You grab a tray, wax paper to put your goodies on and a pair of tongs to grab what you want. Then you select what you want from the clear cabinets with your tongs and bring everything up to the counter. There you can order from the cooler case of cakes as well as drinks before paying for it all. They have lattes, pudding teas and bubble teas as well as plenty more.

Great variety of Asian and American pastries! Also has a good choice of drinks, including tea and coffees. Only negative is the lack of heating options for your food. But I do appreciate not having to drive all the way to Bellaire to the other location. Highly recommend.
