East Star Chinese Buffet

One of the cleanest buffets I've ever seen. The food at no point ever looked recycled, and always tasted fresh. My daughter even told me the pizza they had out tasted good. For a family of 3 it was a touch over $50. A little pricey in my opinion, but well worth it in my opinion. We'll definitely go again.

The food was alright. There was a variety of food and fruits. When we came in to the Buffet, the person lead us to the table but the lady that was organizing the table to fit all 11 of us, was very rude. She threw the toddler seats and one of them hit my sister and did not apologize. Then she was rudely hitting the chairs against the table. After she left we were assigned some other person who was nice and attentive to making sure our table was clean and our drinks were full.

Best Chinese buffet in Houston. Seriously, consistently they are the best. The peanut chicken is a thing of beauty that keeps me up at night. I love this stuff. No one else makes it like them. Sushi is fresh and always good. They also have this thin steak that is great. The chicken on a stick is a hit with my family also. A lot of people come for the boiled shrimp and crawfish. It is super busy so either come at an off hour or prepare to wait for a table a little while.

The food is good and moderately priced. They have great oysters on the half shell. Also the buffets keep the food warm. It's clean and the waitstaff is very attentive.

Food is ok to pretty good. The spicy chicken is pretty mild but very tasty. Typical buffet. Server was very nice and helpful. You can get in and out very fast if you're in a hurry.
