Frenchie's Italian Restaurant

The food was great! My first authentic Italian restaurant in Houston!!! Portions were nice. The restaurant staff were very nice making sure you received your food in a timely manner. I will definitely be back!!!

Clear Lake institution, Traditional Italian food, popular for lunch and dinner. Proprietor is friendly and helpful. For lunch, you stand in line to order, then take your seat making lunch service much faster. They leave out a bowl of fried garlic so you can make your mean as garlicky as you like. Someone's, the garlic bowl is so popular there isn't any left for the stragglers: first come first served! NASA memorabilia on all the walls gives the restaurant the well traveled atmosphere of the Clear Lake area.

AMAZING!
This place makes you feel at home. The people that own it are SO KIND. The food is AMAZING. You want to keep eating even when you are full! You will be so happy you ate here and really feel the love of NASA around you. You may be even dining next to an astronaut! The portions are large....so be ready to bring home a to go for the next day! THIS place is a MUST dine if you are in the area!!!

Not to keen on this restaurant myself. Service was fair & food was good. Great size portions. Just not my ambiance. I do recommend this restaurant though. True Italian!

We've eaten at Frenchie's perhaps five times and remain amazed that food this good is in such an unassuming location. The interior is nice but not fancy. The staff however has always been good (often speaking in Italian amongst themselves). The food is quite outstanding (rich creamy sauces, firm pasta, and explosive flavors). The added bonus is that we've always run into one of the owners who makes you feel like family. This is a rare treasure.
