Raffa's

Raffa's is a locally owned restaurant located by the river in Kingwood. Great restaurant with good food and a really good location. Open for lunch and dinner, they have a really nice menu and a nice wine selection to have with your meal.

We visited Raffa's Waterfront Grill in Kings Harbor before the dinner rush... Had a great time, good food, and Kevin our bartender was superb! If you haven't visited Raffa's you should add it to your list of places to try. Raffa's is located in Kingwood, Texas with waterfront views just north of Atascocita on West Lake Houston parkway and can be seen as you cross over the bridge.

High quality dinning in a great atmosphere. The early crowd is a bit older with the young-ish crowd coming later. If the weather is nice, ask for a table outside overlooking the San Jacinto river. The specials are always creative and eclectic. The prime rib (Wednesday to Sunday) is a super deal at $25. Excellent wine selection and bar service. Good spot for a date, anniversary, etc.

I ate here many times while I lived in the Kingwood area. Anything I tried was good but especially liked the way they prepared salmon. The service was always professional. Sadly it was flooded during Hurricane Harvey but the owners were working hard to get it reopened when I moved from the area.

It was my first time at Raffa's and we went for my birthday. The atmosphere was and staff were really nice. Unfortunately the food was not the best. We ordered the brie appetizer and the cheese tasted like it came straight out of the refrigerator. I was expecting a warm melted cheese. Also I order a wedge salad and the blue cheese tasted like it was watered down. The three of our meals were also a little cool and tasteless. I was very disappointed in the food and don't think I'll be returning to the restaurant.
