Chimichurri's South American Grill, Kingwood

Oh my goodness....what a spectacular meal! And, seated in the patio room overlooking the lake?? Amazing! We had been wanting to go here for quite some time, but were waiting for a special occasion to do so. The restaurant is so pretty inside and the very large windows in the patio room give you the most amazing view of the lake. We all had very different dishes (steak, chicken and seafood) and they were all very, very good. Portions are generous. Our server, Uriel, was on top of everything and, quite frankly, one of the best servers I've ever experienced. Knowledgeable about all of the menu items, made great suggestions and checked in with us often to make sure everything was going well. Refills on drinks were constant - your glass will never run empty. It's an expensive restaurant, but with a really relaxed and inviting atmosphere. If you have room for dessert, I suggest the Flan....I swear, it's the best I've ever had....not too big of a helping...just enough, but oh so good!! Make reservations! This place is quite popular and generally packed on the weekends and special occasions.

This was a wonderful departure from a typical steakhouse. I had the Gaucho Ribeye which was perfectly executed with a great sear and done to my liking. I brought my four young children which is probably not recommended but it was alright seating outside. Service was flawless all the way up to the waiter graciously apologizing to the 8 year old for getting her order wrong when I know for a fact the waiter did not get her order wrong. The waiter provided excellent recommendations for appetizers, entrees, and pairings. We had a great time bringing the whole family and I bet I will enjoy it even more when we get a babysitter for next time. Truly excellent food and the staff is wonderful.

Very nice restaurant, by the river. We sat in the patio area. It is covered and mostly closed in. Very nice out there. The food is excellent and portions are good. At our table we had the lunch specials, which included a steak, salmon, and a chicken dish, all good. The lunch special includes a soup/salad, main dish and a dessert. The meal starts when you are seated with a tray of plantain chips! Price was moderate to high!

Delicious food, risotto was fabulous. Ambiance was very nice and the waitstaff very attentive. So happy they came back after Harvey. Truly an amazing dining experience.

This place was like no other!! Service was spot on and attentive. Ambience was warm and inviting. The food was very delicious and mesmerizing.
