Taqueria Del Sol

My favorite Mexican place I've been to yet. It is leaps and bounds above any of the chain Tex-Mex restaurants like Gringo's or Lupe Tortilla. This place really is authentic and all the food was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The prices were more than fair and the service was great, although the server did come at me speaking Spanish. It's a Mexican food place though, so fair enough. The bakery is also out of this world and SUPER cheap. You can get a ton of amazing goods for just a few bucks. If you want some real Mexican food this place should be at the top of your list.

Food was good, and the place was busy. But it just looks so filthy! The ceiling tiles were dirty, especially around the vents, which means the air filters aren't replaced frequently. The food tasted good, but I just kept thinking that the kitchen was not up to par. Sorry, but will probably not return.

The parking lot isn't the back can park 100 cars but their dining room can only accommodate half of that. The food has a unique taste and its worth the wait. If you choose not to wait you can always place your order to go.

HIDDEN GEM! Prepare to have a long wait time upward to 30 minutes. This is a spot locals flock to and when I'm nearby the wife and I have to stop in. Complimentary salsa is the best and every plate is overflowing with the best tasting cheese. This restaurant has stayed small and hasn't expanded, which is why I believe they serve consistently awesome meals.

Very fast service , friendly staff. Love the authentic flavors. I love that they go out of their way to give you the best service possible. They offer natural waters and also milkshakes and breakfast is available all day.
