Velvet Taco

I can hardly even begin to describe the food that this establishment offers. If you've not tried it, go! The buffalo chicken taco is probably one of my most favorite things to eat anywhere. Everything is very well crafted, and certainly unique.

This is the taco place I take all the guests who visits and wants to eat best tacos Houston hast to offer. Fantastic joint for quick tacos. My only complain is that they have very limited vegetarian taco options. Must go for everyone who visits Houston!

Consistently great food. Very reasonable pricing given the quality of fare. Many options to choose from ranging healthy, vegetarian, and downright comfort. Never disappointed here. Open late. Nothing negative to be said.

Ordered the shrimp & grits, fish & chips, and chicken & waffles. The fish & chips curry flavor with the malted fries had a very unique flavor that complimented each other well. S&G was a very straight forward taco that was done well. Grits was very yummy on the corn tortilla. My personal favorite was the chicken and waffle taco, which wasn’t too sweet. I advise eating it first without hot sauce as it might overtake the subtle flavors of the taco. Don’t forget to try their velvet cake, which my kids love. Place is always clean and has a very upbeat atmosphere. Staff is always helpful and attentive to your questions. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

This place has great vibes and some damn good food. Decent beer selection and the service is always top notch. Usually pretty packed but they move through pretty quick. Street Corn, Tots and tacos are great!
