Acme Oyster House

Awesome place! Sat at the Oyster bar.Great food, great drinks, and these three guys ( Nestor, Tyler and Nick) took great care of us! These guys were the best! If you see them trust me they will make you feel at home! Definitely going back over and over! Thank you for a great experience 🙂

I’ve been to this location twice and have always enjoyed my time. But this particular time my experience deserved a review, first the oyster shucker Thomas was PHENOMENAL!
He was so personable he was a great addition to my experience. He taught me about the oyster and proper ways to eat. Honestly me and my friends spent a good portion laughing and joking with him it was great. The bar was an experience I never had before and will be back again looking for Thomas.
Acme itself is a great place to eat I’ve tried a few local places and this is the best one in my opinion 10/10

The atmosphere was cool, the food was really good and the service was excellent. The red beans were surprisingly really good, the fried oysters were fresh and flavorful but the charbroiled oysters definitely could've been better more broiled and less gritty and the hot sausage po' boy was good but definitely could have used more Patton's patties. Of course it's not the Acme in New Orleans but overall I enjoyed this place and I'm just so glad that they are now here in Houston. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered the grilled oysters, fish and shrimp plate with a side of soft shell crab. All of it was so good. The bartenders were very knowledgeable about the history of the company and family. Parking wasn't an issue when we went. Differentially will go back soon. Keith

I love it !!the food is amazing I'm a big fan of Southern food. The only reason I'm thinking to come back is that their servers are not wearing a mask and it doesn't make me feel comfortable the waitress we had she's was super amazing but when I asked her if she was vaccinated she said no and she may not get it because she does a lot of research which I found it great!! Everyone does wherever they want to do!! but what if I and my family weren't vaccinated? I love everything about this restaurant.Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable that their staff is out of mask without taking seriously CDC guidelines.
