The blue baby and the tropical green tea hits different, would recommend. The mushroom & corn fried rice and curry seafood fried rice are good choices as well. Overall a pretty chill spot to eat and study.
I have quite enjoyed this establishment, especially for its convenience to students and staff alike. Since the change of owners, there seems to have been some changes for the better. There are more items on the menu, giving more options to the customer. The food has always been quality, and accommodations have been made when any of my orders have ever been not up to par.
I would be remiss if I didn’t also mention the superb service. Everyone is always so kind and willing. Though it is customary to throw away your own leftover food, debris, and place your plates and utensils to be cleaned yourself, it is more often than not that a worker does it for you, giving you more service than what was to be expected, honestly.
There has been a slight uproar about the move to remove both alcohol and sushi from the menu. Though I see how those were popular items before, I for one never partook, nor felt the urge. The removal of alcohol makes sense, considering the restaurant is inherently connected to the school in some ways. The sushi, on the other hand, seems to have been a business move, which does not really effect me, as I have previously stated.
All in all, the restaurant is a great place in which I have eaten at, had friend lunches, business meetings, and even studied at. It is a great establishment for the University of Houston.
