Extra Credit

Rooftop is really a tragically bad college bar. UH has close to 45,000 students; it deserves a better college bar. The drinks are okay at best, the tab adds an automatic 20% gratuity without giving you a heads up, and there's nothing (bartenders, TV's , specials, events, etc) to make this bar worth the drive. One day someone will realize the potential of giving Houston the college bar they deserve and Extra Credit and The Den won't be in business. Three stars because I feel like they (kind of) try.

Went there on Thursday and it was packed. Everything was going well, the service is great but I had a problem when I tried to use the bathroom. The line was super long and while I was waiting a guy attempted to get in front of everyone, he was told to wait by I and the other customers and he decided to pull out a knife. The bouncers were called and took control of the situation in a super professional way. Props to new management for hiring people that actually keep the place safe.

Cheap drinks!

Great happy hour options that differ every day. Easy place to chill and relax on campus. Crowded on the weekend but had alot of stuff to do on the patio, oversized chess and beer pong.
