Baby Barnaby's

One of my favorite places for quality American food. I will probably become a regular. The place has a great feel to it. Food and feeling reminds me of Kansas City.

Very nice and cozy spot. The food was great as well as the service. I can see how the wait times might be long especially during the weekdays when patio sitting is not available.

Comfortable breakfast & lunch spot from the Barnaby's folk. Nice outside seating and always friendly service. Tasty breakfast standards with some originality and healthy options. Decent coffee (for Houston). Very popular, so be prepared to wait for a table.

Great family-oriented restaurant. Stopped in for breakfast one weekend and had a perfect experience start to finish. The staff was attentive and friendly, the orange juice was fresh squeezed, the coffee was plentiful, and the food was amazing. Oh, and the prices were good too! My new favorite weekend breakfast spot in Houston.

There are a lot of places that advertised best burger in town, best burger in Texas, best burger in the world, and you know they all can't be that.

I can't say it's the best burger in the world, but I can say the Guacamole Cheeseburger at Barnaby's on Fairview Street is the best burger in Houston and surrounding areas.

I order my guacamole cheeseburger with the guacamole on the side, with grilled onions, a grilled jalapeno and a side of ranch dressing for the mound of fries you receive with the meal. This is a thick Burger and if you have the mound of guacamole put on the burger be warned you may look like the exorcist with the first bite. Having it on the side allows you to have a bite of guacamole and alternate bite with their terrific chipotle sauce. The grilled jalapeno kicks it up a notch and gives a different level of flavor.

I doubt if you will have the room, but maybe you can share a slice of their carrot cake which is absolutely the best I've ever had.
