Dough Zone Dumpling House Houston Uptown

So glad to see a dough zone in Houston! The dining experience was very pleasant - service was great and the food was solid. It’s not the best xiaolongbao I’ve had in Houston, but it’s still very good. Definitely recommend the Sichuan cold noodles - definitely my favorite dish there!

Every dishes came out pretty quick and all were delicious! The owner did an amazing job on adding photos of food on the menu. Super easy to look and choose. I wish there are variety of dumplings like Shumai or some other dumplings, but overall, my friends and I would definitely come back to try out other dishes for sure! Must try on Xiao long bao. So good!

We enjoyed our time here trying out different dim sum style foods served in a modern environment. Service felt a little slow considering the restaurant wasn’t busy but that’s ok. We LOVED the soup dumplings and all 3 noodle dishes (cold noodles and Dan Dan noodles not pictured since we ate it all so quickly). I will say the portions are not really shareable. It’s best to get 2 of something if you find something you really love. We’d definitely come back and try out more of the soup dumplings, noodles, and vegetable dishes!

Came across this place, and my girlfriend and I decided to stop in and have dinner. We have never had this kind of Chinese food before, so it was fairly new to us both. We tired the pigs ear trying something new, and it was different, but rather tasty, good texture, and nice portion. She had the Dan Dan noodles, and I had the spicy beef sandwich. She devoured the noodles, needless to say, she loved them. As for my beef sandwich, it wasn't as spicy as I expected, which turned out perfectly for my liking. Overall, the atmosphere and service was excellent! The outside patio view on this cool February night was the cheery on top! Definitely recommending this place for anyone on the fence.

Place is very clean / nice design. Excellent and fast service. And most importantly: delicious dumplings!
Can definitely recommend soup dumplings and pot stickers here. Would NOT recommend steamed - compared to other dumplings, you will waste space in your stomach
