La Mexicana

Probably the best almost-authentic Mexican restaurant in Houston. Service is fast and efficient, specifically if you speak Spanish.
I had a lot of frozen margaritas plus spinach enchiladas (no meat) with green sauce, and deserts, everything was delicious just too much cheese.
Parking on site plus there's a lot across the street.

Mexican food and service at this spot is very good. do not leave if it's busy, it is worth it. definitely worth going back to. prices were decent. similar to a place in denver i liked.

I like to experiment with cuisines or any other simple foods from other countries. It's the best thing you can do for yourself to educate yourself on other cultures. However, I always like to feel like I'm in the land of my family. This restaurant prepared our foods correctly; Perfectly seasoned and at the perfect temperature. What was especially charming was the immediate service and attention the waiters (and other staff) gave to me and the other customers. The decor was outstanding as well. Truly, La Mexicana is authentic and I definitely will be coming back. :)

If you like ceviche this is the place to go! It's incredibly fresh and you really do get your money's worth. Plus their salsa is some of the best in town. Delicious, dark, and flavorful with a great smoky taste. Prices are good too!

Great breakfast friendly service. Met a local lady that recommend other food items while we were checking out. As we we're loading up in our vehicle she stopped by and handed us a box of cupcakes she had bought..what a sweet lady says a lot about Southern hospitality. We're from Kansas but will be sure to patronizing this establishment next time we visit Houston.
