Magdalena’s

I absolutely love Magdalena's. Chef Nicolas is everywhere he personally greets tables and makes you feel like you are family! Angel is an amazing server always attentive to your needs. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is classy yet comfortable. Chef Nicolas also has a delicious olive oil that you must try and you can even buy a bottle to take home with you!

I had an outstanding lunch today at Magdalena's Trattoria. The Ceasar's salad was ice cold and very good. Next I had the Spaghetti Carbonara, it was delicious, served piping hot and the taste was as good as it gets. Great to have this Italian restaurant near home. They are doing thing right.

Great new surprise in West U. We’ve been watching this go up in the Pei Wei space in the Kroger Center. I saw the announcement article in the Chronicle and went in on a very early evening on a Saturday and sat at the bar.

The space is beautiful. Tan leather booths and a beautiful white granite bar. With a very friendly bartender who was helpful with the menu. The menu is traditional Italy. Items like fried artichokes, pasta carbonara, and branzino. I’ll post the menu.

I had the fried artichokes, the truffle risotto, and the lemon dessert. It was all really really good. A lovely meal. This place is going to be popular.

Made a reservation with a group of 6 adults and a baby, which they accommodated very well. Spacious with somewhere between a casual-nice atmosphere. Food was great. Pizza has that really nice almost chewy doughy crust you’d expect from a wood-fired oven. To share, we ordered four pizzas, two salads, and one pasta. The only thing I would’ve liked was if the salads came out first sonce they brought them all out at the same time, but no big deal. I think every single waiter came to our table to assist so it’s nice they all work as a team. By 7:30 or so, the whole restaurant was packed including the VERY cute bar area that is located in the center of the restaurant. Definitely coming back.

I had a fantastic experience at Magdalena's Trattoria! The exceptional service, led by Chef Nicolas personally greeting us, added a personal touch. The food quality was outstanding, especially the wood oven-made pizza. Located in the vibrant West University area, it's a must-visit spot for anyone seeking great Italian cuisine in a wonderful setting.
