Went looking for a bombilla, they were out but the pastries and food selection was pretty great. The dining seats were limited but the place felt very welcoming and authentic.
This was a nice little find driving thru Houston. They served sandwiches and pastries here. I was happy to see that they had tables inside for such a small place. The owner was really friendly and spoke Spanish and English. They sandwiches were good but the tres leches was a little drier than expected.
This place has the most decent empanadas around the city. It has great vibes and great customer service. Definitely worth checking out
I was in the area and saw this old sign and decided to see what google said about the deli shop and I’m so glad I decided to try a couple items. The Ham and Cheese empanadas were super tasty, hot and fresh. I’d hit it with your choice of hot sauce too. I also got the coconut Carmel cookie, it was not too sweet, super soft when you bite into it, and sticks to the roof of your mouth, I see why a cup of coffee would go well with this. I’m definitely coming back to try their sandwiches and other lunch plates. This is why I like the food around Westhiemer, you can try all different types of cuisines, in this case today was Argentinian flavors.
