Pho Ga Express

Apparently Currysmith now closed down, and a new restaurant Pho Ga Express took over their spot.

Yesterday, I placed an order for Currysmith, and drove there from Sugarland to pick it up. When, I got there, the gentleman in the front told me the order was canceled. We had not received a notification on our phone or email. The gentleman told me that I could speak with the owner if I wanted to, and I said yes. The owner explained to me that he was the new owner of the spot and it was not Currysmith anymore. He had already refunded the order but I only noticed once I was there.

He insisted on making me and my wife a beef and a chicken pho due to the misunderstanding and me driving there. I initially refused, because I did not want him to make something free of charge, but the owner insisted. Being in the food industry myself, I will say, that is some of the best customer service i have ever experienced. The owner is truly a wonderful person and shows that he cares for his customers.

Now to the pho. It was very well packaged. Everything individually so it does not get messy. My wife loved the addition of the chilli pepper with the pho fixings. The broth does come separate, so you will have to warm it up. You just simply warm it up, and put in the bowl that has the meat, noodles and toppings. Both the chicken and the beef broth were great. The broth was also very nice with a rich flavor. If you are in the mood for pho, please go support this establishment, you will not regret it.

It is a ghost kitchen, so you can either order through the food apps or in the kiosk when you get there.
