Stopped here last minute when there is zero food places open in Houston due to the weather. The owner and his family are incredible people. They were there only to check on their store but stayed to serve the public.

As for the quality, outstanding!!!!! My wife and I ate pastries all through the Balkans and these were 100% spot on to what we had. I loved it so much and it brought back amazing memories. I cannot wait to go back and send others here. What a hidden gem.

We were driving around looking for some hot food with the water and power out and happened to come past Simit & Poacha. Luckily the owners came by 10 minutes earlier to check on the place and let us order some pastries. It was delicious! We are glad we stopped and will definitely be back again!

I can’t say enough about this place. I’ve been ordering cakes from Simit & Poacha all the time and I never regretted. The taste is excellent as well as the cake designs. The cake in the pictures was for my husband, they did the exact same thing that I showed them even a better version. The taste is also great! I love their poachas and bagels(simit) too!! The staff is very friendly. Strongly recommend this place.

My favorite bakery in Houston, delicious Turkish pastries.
I haven’t been to this place for sometime, the owner super nice as usual and their pastries are the best in Houston, I always leave with more than I I was going to buy.
Try those sweet bites if you like coconuts, they are SO GOOD ?.
