Spanish Village Restaurant

This place has been in Houston all of my life and I finally got to visit, boy have I've been missing out! Great service, food and the drinks Bravo!

This place was amazing. Awesome food great service. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Made my first visit to the long time Third Ward establishment a few weeks ago. After living in Houston for 39 years I finally got up the courage to give them a try. I hate to be disappointed by bad Tex-Mex food...

Good thing I was not disappointed! I went for Sunday brunch. I had the breakfast enchiladas. The texture was not what I expected, but was very delicious non the less. I was very pleased that the refried beans were vegetarian friendly. I really enjoy the chips and salsa. The salsa was not the typical deep red sauce one would expect. It was a radish broth color, but full of flavor. And the coffee by local roaster, Katz, was really good.

I'm looking forward to making another visit soon. It didn't bother me that there were few people there (though that sort of goes against the Tex-Mex cultural vibe).

This restaurant is not glamorous from the outside,but the food is okay. I picked up dinner for my family. The best part of me stopping by today was the food was ready in a few minutes. I stopped by this restaurant because my mother wanted me to stopped by. She remembers when the restaurant was vibrant and probably had a 5 star rating.

The food was just right with their combinations. Their service from the waiters and waitresses were very welcoming and so was their manager. I had a really good time and their drinks were A1 and I wish I could've stayed longer but I had to be somewhere. But one thing is for sure, is that I'll be back. ☺
