Swamp City Seafood Restaurant

My first time trying this place. I ordered crab legs, plain, online and when I picked up my order, I guess it was obvious I didn't understand about the sauces. I wish I had gotten the name of the lady that helped me out by taking the time to make sure I really wanted them plain! I would have missed out on a great sauce! Food was great and the people were super friendly. Swamp City is now on my list of preferred places to eat!

The food is good. Wish the spot was bigger or they had a line just for to-go orders. They are growing in popularity because the food is so good, so the waiting will only get worse. Hopefully the owners will address this issue soon because I don't like being crowded.

Hands down the best place to get seafood in Houston. My all time favorite are the crab legs. Me and my husband are frequent visitors. I love everything about this place, including the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They definitely get 5 stars on their customer service as well in addition to their food. The prices are very reasonable, the wait and turnaround time for my food is always reasonable. I think the most I've ever waited was twenty minutes. Definitely recommended!

Food was hot and fresh. Cashiers were nice. Shrimp fried rice was good n buttery but had small unclean shrimp. Frozen drink was good as well. Reasonable prices. I like it but I'm a fesh seafood person...why they get 4 stars! Bathroom was clean. Security guard stationed inside. Alright for a quick bite.

Just okay. Nothing was bad, but I've just had better fried food. I like crispier catfish. The flavor was fine. The fried shrimp were good. The onion rings were a little greasy, but still tasty. The sweet potato fries were perfect. The spicy corn was really good. We were disappointed with the fried rice because all the pictures showed big shrimp, but it was the little frozen Chinese shrimp.

They were busy AF and moved the line quickly. The girl who took our order was friendly and helpful.

Glad I went, but if I ever go back, I will try out the boiled seafood and hope for more flavor than the fried seafood.
