GREAT EXPERIENCE! Had one of the best steaks. 36 oz Ribeye. They let you go back and tell what size you want and they cut it for you. I loved it. The service staff was 5 star! Xavier was our server. He sets the bar for what a server should be! The management was always in eyesight and very attentive. Highly recommend!

This was our first time at Taste of Texas; we went there because someone gave us a gift certificate and we had no idea what to expect. On a Tuesday night, the parking lot was full, but there was plenty of parking at the Best Buy right next door. So we went in expecting a long wait and a noisy restaurant (note they do not take reservations) - but we were seated in 5 minutes. And, because the restaurant is HUGE, the floors are carpeted, the ceilings are acoustic tiles, the noise level was not bad at all.

We knew, from the menu, that the salad bar was included, but we didn't know how extensive the salad bar was. And we didn't know they would also bring garlic toast and cream cheese spread to the table. As a result, we were pretty stuffed before the main course even arrived. The steaks, and the sides were so amazing we ate most of it anyway. The dessert we had to box up and take home for later.

Service was prompt and friendly throughout, we were never left waiting or looking for someone, the manager came by and checked on us... overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Their menu is available online and it's a good idea to check that out before you go if it's your first time.

Excellent food! Best steak ever. We tried cowboy steak and New York strip. Tomahawk steak looks very serious - come hungry or leave with a to-go bag. Salad bar is top notch. Fresh bread. Deserts are special. Try the pecan pie and cinnamon ice cream. Enough to share in - one slice we fed 4 people! The service was extraordinary. If you are looking for a special celebration dinner, this is it! Kids menu pleases the younger crowd.

Excellent as usual once you get past the wait. Great steak, super salad bar. So, I find myself here once again, and in addition to the great food, we have an excellent wait-person. Her name is Mary Ann and she is so friendly and happy. And so attentive and useful for suggestions. It was so good to have her.
