Your Pie

Normally, I really like Your Pie. However tonight as we were standing in line, ordering our food, the person who's supposed to be the manager left the food preparation area, with his gloves on, went over and rang people up -- touched their credit card and the screen of the cash register --and then came back and was going to touch more food with the same gloves.

THE GLOVES ARE NOT THERE TO KEEP THE EMPLOYEES HANDS CLEAN!!! The gloves are to protect the patrons from employee germs and cross-contamination from other patrons. This is basic food safety, not Covid-19 specific.

I asked him to change his gloves which he did. Then after he started another pizza, he came over and rang me up, after cleaning the cash register screen with disinfectant with a used rag and the new gloves, which now have touched the used cleaning rag. I can only hope you didn't actually go and touch more food with the now dirty gloves.

I'm sure he does not understand why I was asking him to change his gloves.

BACK TO: THIS IS BASIC FOOD SAFETY, not about keeping your hands clean.

We'll see next Friday if anything has been updated at the restaurant as pertains to glove usage.

Food and service was amazing!!!

I celebrated my son's birthday in this restaurant and I love it.
The staff are very kind and nice and patient and the place is spacious and you get soda refill, and the combo includes 2 scoops of gelato icecream, what is better than that? they also have non dairy icecream and if you are vegan they have the coliflower crust pizza and the nondairy cheese for the pizza, what is better than that? nothing. I will keep going to this place.
