Pappa Gyros

I'm not often "WOWED" by a business or restaurant, but today I certainly was. This is my first visit and Pappa Gyros made a great impression. A few minutes after noon, I arrived to find the place hopping. Despite the buzz, I was warmly greeted and my order was taken in good time. My Italian beef (dipped!!) was delicious and reasonably priced. As I ate, a staff member graciously refilled my drink and i was greeted by the boss/owner. All interactions felt sincere and not mechanical. The team seemed to be firing on all cylinders yet felt calm and confident. This location has seen more than a few failed restaurants, but I think Pappa Gyros will be here as long as they want. Well done!

WOW! One of my buddies has been raving about this place and I kept saying.. "yeah yeah - its in a gas station, can't be that great." I finally had a chance to swing in the other day and boy was I WRONG!! First of all when i walked in I was greeted like Norm which always makes you feel good. I obviously looked lost and like it was my first time and a nice lady came up to me and said.. "1st time?" Asked her what i should get since it was my 1st time and she quickly said #1 (Original Gyro). The Gyro was by far the best i have ever had and the overall experience was amazing. Will def. be back and i cannot recommend this place enough. AWESOME!

Consistently great lamb gyros!! Pappa Taki burger is amazing as well!! Chris is always welcoming and appreciates your business.
Oh, the Italian beef sandwich is also very good; I liked it best when dipping in the hot broth! (these weren't all tried on the same visit. ????)

There's so much passion and love the owner puts in all the food! He and his staff are engaging with their customers and the customer service is amazing. This is the definition of what a restaurant should be. Addicted to this place! Bring friends and family! highly recommended!

Like Yelp says, highest rating! Great little Greek eatery on Grand Parkway and Kingsland (hidden behind a gas station, making it a bit tougher to find and even more a challenge to park!) Try the lamb gyros, excellent! The proprietor is the gem, warm greeting and genuine concern for your meal and experience. Go ahead, you got to try it!
