Urban Bird Hot Chicken

The sauces had awesome flavor and the service was great. I got the hot chicken sandwich, which was good. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the size of the tenders on the sandwich (odd complaint, I know). The portion was awesome and the chicken was cooked perfectly, but the chicken was so thick that the inside didn’t have much flavor. When you take a bite, the delicious outside flavors were overpowered by the huge amount of bland chicken. The mac & cheese and fries were pretty good... nothing super special. A little over priced, but overall good.

Great food. I really liked the burger with Cole slaw, cheese and fries. Service was slow last time I went (took about 30 mins and they weren't really busy). Other than that excellent place and food.

Another time we went we tried the Mac and cheese which was also very good. The place overall is a little pricey. For 3 sandwiches and fries I paid about $37. Good quality though and you can tell the seasoning they use is very good.

The menu is simple, but the chicken is delicious! My family and I ordered the chicken tender baskets and the chicken and waffles. All of the food came out hot and fresh and very tasty. Try your chicken with the Nashville Hot spice for just the right amount of heat.

Everything I ordered was fresh and delicious! I got the Nashville chicken tenders and they were good as well. I decided to order the kale coleslaw, to try a “healthy” item off the menu and it was tasty. My bf had a sandwich and we both had a side order of fries. No complaints with any of the food. I am definitely going back.

I had high hopes for Urban Bird. The closest hot chicken spot is not great, and the best one is all the way down town. This place is closer and even better. The chicken is extremely tender, not overly breaded, and has a nice kick. I went with the extra hot option and while it didn't melt my face, it definitely had enough and the right kind of heat.

The sandwich also had enough coleslaw and pickles- not so much that it overwhelmed or waterlogged it, but not so little that you barely get a taste.

The crinkle cut fries were great, and the bird sauce is exactly what you expect, just there classic comeback sauce.

It wasn't too busy when I got there, but even if it had been, this would have been worth a wait.
