“Lunch sushi bento box: Rice was very hard and it was not sushi grain rice. Vegetable tempura was a bit too thick and greasy. I went once when they first opened and it wasn't good. I only went to try it out again because I saw some recent good reviews but was disappointed. There are many other places around with better quality. Waitress was very nice though but service was slow since she's the only person working.”

“I've been to a lot of pizza huts but this location had the best food. Everything was cooked to perfection. The pizzas were extra cheesy and the pasta was amazing. I don't normally eat their wings but even the lemon pepper wings tasted great. Lately a lot of the Pizza huts have been running out of food or closing an hour early but this one not only had everything I wanted but they were open at the time they were supposed to be open even if it was late.”

“Very nice Denny's location. I really enjoyed the free meal on my birthday and didn't even realize that they offered that. The Slam breakfasts are tasty and come with a great price for the amount of food that you get. I was always a big IHOP fan, but this location has switched my breakfast favorite to Denny's for life. They also have really good lunch and dinner options at a very reasonable price.”

“The Pizza Shoppe is take out and delivery only - an unassuming little shop next to a gas station and donut place at Franz and Avenue D. For a neighborhood pizza place, this one is a star. The pizza is closer to thin crust than thick, but is definitely of the hand tossed variety. Every pizza gets a garlic butter coat brushed onto the crust before it is put in the box, and the pizza is fantastic. The cheesy garlic bread is also delicious, and comes with more than a normal fast food pizza place would include in an order for the price charged. If you go in person, the owner is very friendly as well, and has been there every time I've gone. They support local sports teams and proudly display the photos of their employees who have gone on to serve in the military, so its the sort of place that feels like it belongs to a small town neighborhood.”

“I had a great menu selection and ordering was fast and friendly at the location on Hwy near Pin Oak. This whole area looks run down including the store. No drive thru so car hops only which is normally fine except I didnt have cash. Order came out quick and a very friendly big black guy brought my order. He was a gay man so not sure if was naturally happy and friendly but he was very polite and nice! I apologized that when you order on the screen with a credit card there is not tip option. He said he knows, didnt complain or make any faces even when I told him I will get him next time ( sure he has heard that plenty of times). I expected a "I wont hold my breath" look but he smiled and thanked me. The food was hot and fresh. Got the hot dog combo with tater tots and a oreo shake. Everything was perfect. I went to the Walmart down the street and had to get some milk, decided to pay debit and took cash out and went back right away to tip him. He was shocked and didnt expect me to come back but I told him I'm a man of my word and he did a great job! Most youth today have a "dont give a damn" attitude. Not this guy. I should have asked him his name but I will get it and update. Point is service was excellent compared to other Sonics newer and nicer. I wish they will remodel and update things but dont ever get rid of the service.”

“This review will be bitter-sweet. The " lady of the house" turned me and my dear friend down today as a customer because I did NOT leave a tip on Valentine's day... I did NOT leave my usual 20% tip there because the staff was totally new and untrained on V-Day and we had to be out by 7 pm..., and we couldn't get the staff to open a bottle of wine for 10 minutes. The fear chef did!!!! He is an amazing cook, and I will miss him and his authentic Italian cooking! Me and hubby usually had 1.5 hours almost every Thursday night at the restaurant since September 2018. I always left 20% tip in cash before.”
