Truly a great steaks! Bit of a wait to get a table; but unless you are in a hurry - wait...it's worth it. We had a young waiter named Dane who was excellent! Courteous and attentive young man with something I've always asked for in my wait staff; sense of humor! Dane surely had it; even when I re-named him the Great-Dane! I was not annoying and showing up in the middle of our conversations; yet he was always right there when needed. Food arrived fast, my center-cut 6oz. Filet (23.99) was perfectly cooked medium, moist and tender. I had asparagus as my side dish...bit overcooked, but tasty. My companion had the stuffed mushrooms (7.99) which is enough to share or to have as a entree (if you like mushrooms that much!) He had the 8oz. center-cut Top Sirloin, (18.99) cooked medium, tender and nicely marbled. He also had a fully loaded baked potato (one of the sides) and a salad. My allergies prevent me from eating many things; like gluten and dairy and Great-Dane was well informed as to other choices I could have. All in all; for about $55 including drinks - it was a great meal, good service and a true Texas atmosphere!

It was great. Our waitress Desirae was very nice and spunky. The service was very good. She definitely made our Friday night dinner a success.

Not as great as I expected. My steak was cooked correctly but was pretty bland. The grilled shrimp were cooked nicely but again a bit under-seasoned. The menu has steak fries but they really were potato wedges with skin that were pan fried not the usual understanding of steak fries. The meal was well cooked but a bit blah. The waiter and other help were very attentive. Overall it was okay just not as good as I expected, especially for the high price of a family of 4.

Great atmosphere and fantastic service. The staff was well trained. I didn't post pictures of the entrees because it could've made the wrong impression. The portions were fair but we ordered small items. I had the blackened red fish with a baked potato and my wife had a small fillet with baked potato. They came on large oval plates, so your first impression can be, "that's small." As you dig in, you quickly realize, the portions are normal the plates are huge. I guess they're designed for those big steaks we saw people around us enjoying. We're going back. I counted off 1 star because of the presentation, but that really wasn't a big deal, and for the slightly longer than usual delay in getting our salads and check. However, it was Valentine's day and they were slammed. They still provided better service than most restaurants do on slow days.

Don't get me wrong I love Saltgrass Steakhouse have a great happy hour with great food. This visit wasn't exactly one of my best I showed up a little early went to the bar since it was Sunday I ordered a mimosa which for me by myself that's fine. Then the bartender, very nice lady, and I started talking about ordering mimosas in a carafe for myself and my three adult children and I knew that one small little bottle was not going to do it so we talked about it and decided that she could put together a large Mimosa in a Carafe.

Finally everybody shows up we're seated at our table it started out to be a nice lunch it was quite warm in our corner we asked to turn down the air-conditioning. Then we started ordering drinks in which I told the lady that I would like to order to Carafe of mimosa. She acted like I was from another planet and said she did not think that the bartender could do that. And I explained to her that yes I just talked to her 15 minutes ago she said that would be fine. Well it never happened she ended up bringing us a whole bottle of champagne which by the way cost of whopping $44 on my bill so I was not expecting for a $8 bottle of champagne. I tried to explain to her again that the bartender said it could be done in a carafe. Well that never worked out right but we managed.
The corner that we were sitting in kept getting warmer and warmer everybody was starting to complain I think people actually starting to leave early I know we left early. It could have happened a whole lot better more up to Saltgrass Steakhouse standards it just didn't happen this time. Don't get me wrong I do love Saltgrass Steakhouse I would like to come back and revisit at least the bar again I'm afraid it's going to be too hot in that corner.
