Visited Saturday afternoon, we were the only table, great attentive service. Had a variety of food, burgers, reuben, Cuban, Patty melt, BLT, all tasty. Cocktails were good. Nice relaxing place.
I'd never heard of Buda. Yet, here's a little gem that's dog-friendly. In addition to far better than average burgers, there's a number of other options. I enjoyed a delicious mushroom-swiss burger with nice plump mushrooms and a perfect bun. We also got the philly-steak sandwich (though I am onion intolerant to my sadness) so I didn't taste it. Good reports though. The surprise of the visit, though, was the hummus plate, a delectable collection of fresh veggies and - by common agreement - perhaps the best hummus some of us have ever had. And, none of us are hummus naive. We didn't try any of the nice selection of beers. The service was personable and pleasant, obviously loving what they do. It was a remarkable meal.
This place is good. Local pub. Food is usually pretty good but a bit much.
Small town bar and grill done right. This is Texas. Nothing fancy, nothing pretentious, just a nice night with great people. Live music inside or outside adds to the charm. Worth your time to visit.
Surprisingly good food for a bar. We had wings (loved them, as they came out naked with a good flavor). My wife and I both had the Cuban, which was also tasty. Lastly, we had the potato wedges, but they were a bit overdone for my liking. Bartender was friendly, and attentive. They did close 2 hours prior to the time shown on Google maps so be cautious of that. Also, the kitchen closes before the bar, as per the norm.
