There are never any good tacos places in Drip but I passed by Tia’s and got some food before they closed. The owner is so sweet and treated my boys like she was a long time family friend or family member.

Instead of tacos, I saw enchiladas that fit my diet plan for that day. My boys chose quesadillas. My toddler just wanted rice but I asked for basically a brisket taco all separated. It was no problem and she suggested different things and asked if we wanted different things as other options. Very helpful.

The quesadillas are stuffed well. The meat was tender and juicy. My enchiladas were what you’d expect from going to someone’s house for homemade food. The chips were thick instead of some thin grocery story chips and the salsa was fresh with just enough bite to not mess with my kids.

The owners told us a playscape will come soon and we’re excited to come back and play and eat.

Nice and friendly people, food always seems to be made with love. Nothing tastes better then enchiladas made by someone that loves too cook.

Some of the best Mexican food in the Austin area. Authentic recipes, fresh food freshly cooked, nice people, and great service. Definitely worth the trip, even if it's out of your way.
