    Good food. Big portions. Friendly and inept wait staff. Ordered a second margarita about 1/3 through the main plate -- didn't arrive until after I finished dish, and only after two separate additional requests ... but their margaritas are real good.

    But hope they improve on timely service, -- will give them another try

    We really like El Ray. We go every other week and all their food is great, especially for the price. Best Mexican Food value around Austin in our opinion. My only suggested improvement is that the service is hit or miss. Totally depends on the server you get. But we expect this and simply enjoy our own company a bit more at times. Our kids love the enchiladas.

    Some of the best Mexican food I've had! I love El Rey, it has a very quaint atmosphere and fantastic food. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Authentic Mexican cuisine
