If you're in a hurry, I would let your waitress know, as this is certainly the type of place where people go to relax and not be in a hurry. My waitress wasn't excessively inattentive or anything, she was very friendly, just not quite as speedy as I needed at the time, but I fault myself for not letting her know I had little time. But the food came out promptly and I can't wait to go again when I can really enjoy it.”

“This is a wonderful outdoor bar with a playground for kids. They have a huge tap selection and a good seafood menu. I went here with my friends for an afternoon drink and found that it was not crowded at all. It has a young adult scene, but not all college kids. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay away from the square, but still want a central location.”

“I came in a few minutes before they were supposed to close and the employee working didn’t rush or make me feel like I was burdening her. She was friendly and fast. I ordered the toxin buster and subbed out the mint and lime with pineapple. It wasn’t like a typical smoothie. I could tell the ingredients were fresh and real ( not from concentrate) I saw someone’s review complaining about the consistency or the smoothie being chunky but I liked it because I felt like it was real food instead of sugary substitutes or juices from concentrate. If it weren’t it would have a perfect consistency. You can see the seeds and such. I loved it. I’d try again.”

“This place is tiny and shares restrooms with a noodle business connected to. It is downtown in a busy little strip mall so parking can be interesting But the food I have ordered has been excellent! One of my normal meals (always to go) is shrimp fried rice and there's always plenty of good sized juicy shrimp. The wait for the order is perfect for the fact that the dish is prepared as you wait. Not already cooked and sitting in a huge tub waiting to be divied out. Nice, hot and fresh and the staff has never fail to have a smile.”

The sandwich I usually get is the tuna, but today I got the salvation and it was incredible. I'm definitely constantly impressed by the quality of their product. It's also really nice inside the store. Graffiti on the walls from locals makes it a San Marcos staple.”
