Acapulco Barra Vieja

This place is honestly hidden. Like the other good reviews, the food portions are large for the prices. It's a small location but the plates are pretty awesome. For the price you pay, you're sure to get full here! Paid about $50 for 4 people and it was every bit worth it. Staff is nice and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. They do tend to have corridos or banda music playing on the TV which is fine. It does give Mueller 37 a run for it's money as far as quality goes for the price you pay. The enchiladas were $8 for the entire plate. The sopa with fish and rice was about $13. Just to show you the portions for the value.

I love this place, great prices, great food and really good service. They have so much variety so I can’t talk about all the options. I always forget to take pics. Plates are very well served.

Amazing food, great place for mariscos at a budget! Definitely some quality dishes and great place to come for a weekend dinner date! AND they have some above average traditional Mexican dishes! BEAUTIFUL presentations of the dishes as well, not just a round plate or tray. They also give toys with the kids meals!

This is the best authentic Mexican food I have ever tried in the valley. I order shrimp tacos and I can describe how delicious they were. The chips and salsa were amazing. The service was great although I do speak Spanish, I was able to communicate what I wanted and I enjoyed the food. Now I have a restaurant to go to for authentic Mexican food.

Didn’t give it a five stars because gift shop items should be concentrated in one side for easier shopping, area of opportunity there.
