Kalis Tortilleria

I tried their lunch plate of the day and it was good. It is only a 2 item plate, chicken and double serving of rice. Their tacos, carnitas were good and I will note any other tasty food I pick up. They also have some delicious sweet bread & cookies.

Their barbacoa is very good, not grease it all and the tortillas are excellent 👏 1/2 pound of barbacoa an a pak of tortillas was 10.00 dllrs.

They are so unexpected. They sell zucchini/ squash flowers and mushroom quesadillas, that are so delicious and I haven't seen that type of food anywhere else in the entire Rio Grande Valley. This is a bakery and tortilla shop, that's why I was surprised to find out these delicious quesadillas here. Go try them out!

Customer service was great! Young man was so polite and assisted with everything we needed to eat there. Including heating up our tortillas!

Picked up some Mexican Sweet Bread in the late afternoon so I wasn't expecting there to be a large selection. Of course my favorite Ginger bread Piggies were all gone. Second favorite the yellow and red cookies. Plenty of them around. They still tasted fresh. I'll bet going early will be your best bet to get some fresh warm bread.
