R&K Cafe II

We were looking for a restaurant near Hillsboro and this popped up on Google maps with great reviews. Excited to find a new place on our path from Austin to Dallas we stopped by tonight for a late dinner. Wow, great food and friendly service made for a much needed break from driving in the rain. Portions are nice, salad bar was fresh and delicious and the entrees were perfectly cooked. I was instantly reminded of my childhood with the comfort food served here. Will definitely be back for more. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the homemade pies staring at you from the glass case, making you crave them. Then you taste one and you remember how grandmother made them...

Love this place. Great food, good service...great hometown atmosphere, friendly, nothing I didnt like. .we ate there for breakfast then went back for fried catfish and a chicken fried steak sandwich for lunch.

Nice atmosphere, good selection. I was visiting family in Milford on the way to Austin and it was a great so to get dinner. My aunt and uncle son too go pretty regularly. Definitely comfort food. I got salmon, Pinto beans, baked potato and squash.

Friendly,, competent service. Clientele were people like us so it felt very comfortable. You'll appreciate the open Airy architecture. Food was just a tad slow coming. The breakfast burrito with bacon was tasty, but I usually like a bit more egg
