A Tiskit - A Taskit Antiques and Soda Fountain

The food is really good and the decor brings back memories, but the hand made ice cream makes Blue Bell taste plain.

Saw place on Daytripper and decided to stop by. Nice atmosphere and great customer service. Shake was excellent and service was quick. Girlfriend had cheeseburger which she liked very much. I had the mushroom/swiss and it was tasty. Would have given it 5 stars but the patty was just not for my taste and style. That could be a little picky but that was my immediate impression.

The food is as amazing as the very friendly wit staff. Very welcoming and the food, quality and price exceeded our expectations. The burger in the attached photo is from my plate. Definitely no room for ice cream after that!! Enjoy this place, you won't be disappointed. A Tiskit A Taskit is a great place for lunch in Hillsboro. Offerings include soups, salads, sandwiches, and hamburgers. This is a small old-time soda fountain/antique shop with many flavors of handmade ice cream, some quite unusual. I had a great chicken salad sandwich and my mom said the cheeseburger was one of the best she had eaten. Friendly and attentive staff, very tasty food, and reasonable prices make this a great place for lunch. Open 10am-3pm.

The best hamburger I have eaten in a long time with chips. Strawberry shake to die for! Best grilled cheese sandwiches ever! Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere! They sell antiques too.
