Is this place really shut down? Was going to go again in the summer..it was one of my favorites. About the only restaurant I would drive 2 hours for.
I don't know where to begin....they made room for us when they are looked full. Food amazing I mean is there an option for 6 stars? Can't believe this place is hidden in a tiny town of Bluff Dale........AMAZING
The quality and flavor of the food is excellent ! The chef is 5* rated in our opinion. He brings together inspirations from all over the world. We have been several times and people drive from very long distances to enjoy. BYOB. Desserts are amazing, the crab appetizers are to due for and the wait staff is first class.
Best food in this area. Open Friday and Saturday nights for dinner. Doesn't seat many so make your reservations by email beforehand! Easily spend 70-100$ on a dinner for two. Best steak and best gourmet mac-n-cheese you will ever have. BYOB. This is the kind of place you drive by and you wonder how long its been out of business when its not...but its a favorite of ours all the way from Fort Worth. LOVE it!
Good food but could be a lot better with just a little more effort. We drove there just to try it out after reading a review in the paper. I had an arugula salad with pine nuts and blue cheese dressing. It was okay but I had to ask the waitstaff where the blue cheese was. "Its mixed in the dressing" was the reply. It would have been so much better with just a few pieces of blue cheese on the plate. I also had shrimp bisque to start with. It was okay. For the main course I had pork tenderloin with risotto which was the best part of my meal. Very tasty! For desert I had the house cheese cake which was also nicely done. Water was served in plastic cups but the staff did bring a real glass for the wine that we brought from home. Its BOYB. A little bread to start the meal off with would have been nice but none was available. The flatware was flimsy and beat up but my biggest complaint was where we were seated. In the corner where the AC vent blew directly on us. I asked the waitress if she could turn up the heat but was given some bizarre explanation about a draft from the outside. If you go avoid the back corner unless you leave your coat on. I don't think I'll be back nor would I recommend it to friends.
